Hi,
I found your Samba4 howto. It looks very interesting, as I am currently evaluating Ubuntu 12.04 and Samba4 as AD DC. In the past I had Samba 3 PDC and am very eager to set up version 4.
However, I am stuck at Kerberos setup. Played around with it and “kinit administrator@DEMO.LOCAL” keeps failing with “kinit: Generic preauthentication failure while getting initial credentials”. Of course I had this principal setup beforehand. I get this error both with the correct pwd and with wrong one. Currently, I am trying to setup Heimdal Kerberos, where I got different one, but hopefully will get to the bottom of it.
Would it be possible for you to include the Kerberos setup in your Samba4 how-to?
